Power sources that are all around us. They run within us from the countless people who came before us. Those in our DNA, and those who interact with us everyday. So even if no one is around us, we must press on.

Exist. Sometimes it’s hard just to be. In my journey, I have a hard time understanding that I am enough as I am. I don’t need to prove myself to anyone. I don’t need to validate my existence. None of us do. We just have to exist as ourselves with our beliefs and inner worlds. By just existing, we make an impact.

When darker thoughts, leading to destruction of ourselves or others, we must Resist. It is understandable when such things try to consume us, but we must avoid such things. This is a battle of the mind. It is battle for our souls. It is a mix of choosing to defy our base reactions and focusing on something else.

It helps to Commit to something, before anything comes up. One value, task, morale… pick one as your rock and hold on to that one at least. It is okay to have multiple, but one must be your solid foundation. Something you can latch onto. For me… this is what I need to figure out, personally. For Maekonect™ though, is easy to see the value and cause is connection. The purpose is to increase interpersonal communication and to help people find more common ground.
