Life’s Funny That Way

Sometimes I find myself a master of the clock. I can get things done in an exact time that’s needed because it works for me. Likely there’s a lot of subconscious activity going along with it. We hold ourselves accountable and it works time to time. A lot of it comes down to what you put your faith in. For me, it’s numbers.

It’s funny that while I can make time work, if I write down exactly what i want to do withing a specific time, it does not work out that way. If I expect that something is going to happen in my favor too much, it doesn’t. Yet if I feel it doesn’t work in my favor, sometimes it does. Life is funny that way, when I have a perfectly good plan, it backfires and goes all over the place making me not want to MAP out my day. It’s helpful, and something I will stick with, but allow myself more grace when it comes to the timing of it all. Hopefully it all works out.

No, it will work out. Eventually. It might not be today nor tomorrow, but if you hold on for one more day, it might be then.

That brings me back to this blog. I still need to organize it. Only some of my posts are easily visible. I want to learn more of it here on WordPress. I want to work on being more consistent. More than that, I want to have a plan. What is it I’m trying to tell people here? What is the point?

This is about Connecting with one another on common ground, but I have been treating it like a personal blog for a while. Perhaps this is just meant to say “Hey, I’m trying to figure out a way people can connect on common ground, there are the steps to taking something that will eventually be a lot bigger than I believe. These are the trials of finding Maekonects purpose in the milieu of society.”

It’s likely that. I’m discovering more and more with each mental breakdown/through. With every brush with challenge I grow. This blog is to document that growth, though reading it might be equated to growing pains. I’ll get better. I have to start somewhere. I hope wherever you are in life you also find the drive to try. By trying, you do. By doing, we make something happen, even if it’s as easy as 1,2,3.

  1. I saw a saying recently that was like:
person 1: “what if it gets worse?”
person 2: “but what if it gets better?”
And I think that’s a healthy way to look at life. If we’re always focusing on the what ifs, but they are negative, you’ll miss out on all the potential positive what ifs. It’s hard to keep going, but you never know what kind of things will await you. So, I believe in what you are doing and sometimes the process isn’t how you imagined it, but that doesn’t make it any less important.
    I believe in you.
