We pick up where we left off last week, but we’ll have to keep this brief. I want to go into details as I did before, but a new system is coming out and I’m going to prepare for it. I’m excited to see how it works with the milieu in society. Thanks to Iniko, and Boldo, I got what I need. I can listen to Infinity Song with ease. What I received is still working with me, for me. Which leads us to the question….

Jak: Do you still make armor?

Boldo: Yes. I was making armor til quarter of when I realized I should go upstairs in case you were early, so, I was working on a helmet for a local guy who would like it by the end of the month, and, you know… So I was shaping the cap, or the top half of the helmet, in a… basically making a bowl.

Jak: I know you have a website, but I don’t remember seeing anything about the armor on there.

Boldo: Oooh that’s pretty much the only useful thing on it.

Jak: Ooohh, so it is there for the armor. Okay, so I just need to look harder. Gotcha.

Boldo: It’s basically the only useful thing on the website, other than the directions of how to get here which are hysterical.

It’s true. They are… something. You should see for yourself.

Jak: Heheh, Ill have to look into that too.

Boldo: I didn’t write them, but they’re very funny.

Jak: Alright so you were with the SCA, I know of course there are a lot of things that happen here in the store. There’s the…. Oh I’m blanking on the name of the game! You have different tournaments…

Boldo: Yeah we do a lot of Magic Tournaments-

Jak: That’s it!

Boldo: -We do a lot of miniature stuff, and we have some … I believe we have a Roleplaying campaign that also happens here.

Jak: I did see that, I need to look into that more, because I need help with that part, but… have you ever played with any of those games or worked with miniatures.

Boldo: Very little that I have not played. I play, now, mostly miniatures. I do play magic when there’s a tournament and an odd number of people. So, I will make an even number and that’ll work out. Otherwise, I do not play. I haven’t played as a character in a roleplaying game in probably… more than 15 years. I haven’t run one since before Covid.

Jak: So you typically would be a game master?

Boldo: Yes, but I pretty much stopped just before fifth edition came out in DnD, and have run a couple one shots in other game systems since then.

Jak: Okay…. So you see a lot of different people here, I assume.

Boldo: Yup.

Jak: What’s some advice you’d like to give – some life advice you could give people in general that you’d like to see?

Boldo: Don’t combine stripes and plaids.

That took me for a loop. Whatever could it mean? Surely something to be addressed another day, or something meant to be a riddle. Maybe not? Only one way to find out!
